THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Election day is tomorrow, so I wanted to take some time out from gaming to focus on more pressing matters. Please vote this Tuesday, November 4th 2008! I don't care who you vote for, "OBAMA", but just vote. It's time for change in this country. This will go down as the most historic election ever in the history of the United States. Don't you want to be a part of history?

Gamers across the US, lets make it National Put Your Controller Down Day tomorrow and devote 6 hours to standing in line to vote!

A Heroes Tale: Good or Evil?

So I'm enjoying Fable II! It's an amazing game! More than I expected, and yes I'm drinking the kool-aid that Peter Molyneux has made. This game is so much better than the first, and I've only scratched the surface of game play. I'm at a cross roads in the game. On the verge of deciding whether to be good or evil. It's hard because I don't see a difference in the rewards. The only drawback for going evil is my appearance at this point. I hoping that the muddy waters will become a lot clearer when I get farther along in the game. So this could be one set back in game play. They should make a better distinction between good versus evil. What are the clear gains of either path. I will keep you updated on what path I choose. Stay tuned!

Tomorrow Tomorrow I'll Love Ya Tomorrow is Only A Day Away!!

Tomorrow will be the best day ever! Fable II will be released, and at least 25 hours of my life will be unaccounted for the rest of the week. I have one dilemma though, am I good, or am I evil? LMAO!! I'm so excited! All the new features are sure to be great with the addition of numerous jobs, minigames, properties to buy and sell, and what looks to be a solid multiplayer mode, Fable fans should have plenty to do. This is, of course, in addition to the single-player campaign, which Molyneux estimates will take around 10 hours to complete if you rush through without experiencing the full gamut of what's possible. These are completion junkies. I like to experience the game for all its worth. Ambient orbs, is a new awesome feature on the game, it allows you to jump in and out of friends' worlds over Xbox Live at ease, promising to extend the gameplay even further. I've been patiently waitng for too long, and I'm happy to say I can't wait til tomorrow, the wait will be over!

Patiently Waiting

Games, games, and more games! This is the month for video games. Don't you just love autumn? There are so many HUGE video game releases this month! Fable II, Fallout 3, Saints Row 2, Silent Hill Homecoming, Little Big Planet, Gears of War II, and the list could go on til the end of November.

It's a great time to be a gamer! I think I'm going to spend over $200 within the next 2 months on games and that's just for XBOX 360 games. Imagine if I had all 3 top consoles? With all the games coming out what games are serious gamers looking forward to? I myself can't wait to buy Fable II, and Gears Of War II. Of course I'm also looking forward to a few honorable mentions like Fallout 3 and I'm curious about Borderlands.

Tell me, what's your expense account this year with all the new games coming out? I know I want them all but can't afford to buy every new game that comes out this year, that's why $200 is my limit til Christmas.

We Pay 2 Play Games That Suck?

Okay, so how many of you went out and bought Star Wars: The Force Unleashed? I'm a huge Star Wars fan myself. I played Outcast, Battle Front, KOTOR, so I definitely planned on playing Unleashed, but something told me to hold off before I bought it, just to check out the reviews. It seemed like every major video game site and magazine smashed the game, labeling it a complete miss hit by Lucas Arts. I for one, thought it couldn't be that bad, so I rented it and results are in, they were right. The game had an abundance of glitches in game play that made me ecstatic that I didn't spend 60 bucks to find out. So why do they build us up to let us down? But more importantly, what can gamers, the "We Pay 2 Play" community do about this or demand from developers?

Demos are never an indication of what the complete game will play like when we purchase it. It sucks that we have to rely on others opinions to find out how great or how horrible a game really is. I think the gamers should be the reviewers that count and not the critics or the developers who think their sh*t don't stink.

Just a thought for you game developers out there, form a fan fair for fan's to be the critics for your games. We are the one's that pay to play, not the critics who receive free copies. Make public of what the fans thought about your game to other gamers, and based on their response makes the necessary changes to your game before you release it to the masses to avoid a complete and total miss hit. You won't put out crap, and we won't pay for crap. All and all both parties would be happy with the end result.

We Pay 2 Play

We Pay 2 Play. I bet you're asking yourself, "What the hell is she talking about?" I ain't paying nothing! Well, if you shell out $60 bucks for any new gen video game, then "You Pay 2 Play!"

Now you feel me? "We Pay 2 Play" and we love it because that means we're enjoying ourselves to the fullest blasting some fools in Halo 3, blowing out teams in NBA 2K, or space hoping planets in Mass Effect. The video game industry is making bank off the "We Pay 2 Play" community, so what I wanna know is, "how to get paid to play?"

I'm sure you've heard of those job posting scams out there on sites like Monster.com and Hotjobs.com blue balling folks who are interested in getting paid to play video games. When they apply it's some BS company who wants you to fill out surveys so they can send you spam.

Honestly, I've heard about people actually making a living playing video games, like millions of dollars, over time though.

So hears my question, can anybody share some info on how, what, when, where or whatever I need to do to start getting paid to play video games? It needs to be official though.
